This website is operated by Forged and Found Ltd, trading as Forged & Found. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17045653. Our registered office is Birmingham Assay Office, 1 Moreton Street, Birmingham, England, B1 3AX. Our VAT registration number is 268 6187 58.
You can contact us through the Contact page or by email at customercare@forgedandfound.co.uk. Return requests should be sent to returns@forgedandfound.co.uk.
These terms apply to your use of our website and to orders placed with us as a consumer. Please read them with our Delivery Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
We take reasonable care to describe each piece, including its base metal, fineness where applicable, plating type, dimensions and stone information. Measurements may be approximate and screen settings can affect colour. Natural gemstones and some production finishes can vary between pieces.
Precious and semi-precious gemstones are identified as natural or laboratory-created. Simulants are described by their actual material, and product-specific grading is included where available.
Precious-metal products are hallmarked where required by the applicable UK legal weight thresholds. A hallmark verifies precious-metal fineness; it is not a promise that a piece will remain unchanged through wear.
When you place an order, you are offering to buy the items in your basket. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of the order but does not necessarily mean it has been accepted. The contract is formed when we send confirmation that the order has been accepted or dispatched.
We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance if an item is unavailable, the price or description contains an obvious error, payment is not authorised, delivery is not available to the address, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If payment has been taken, it will be refunded.
All first orders and all orders over £500 will be sent only to the cardholder's registered billing address. We may require additional payment, address or identity verification and may cancel and refund an order if we cannot complete those checks.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Orders under £50 are subject to a £4.99 delivery charge; orders of £50 or more qualify for complimentary delivery. Order values are calculated after discounts and exclude delivery charges. Any charge must be shown before you place the order. Payment is taken through the methods displayed at checkout.
Delivery arrangements, territories, charges and estimates are set out in our Delivery Policy. Unless you arrange your own carrier, the goods remain at our risk until they come into your physical possession or that of a person you identify to receive them. If you give the carrier a redirection, neighbour or other nominated-delivery instruction, delivery carried out in accordance with that instruction may be treated as completed to the extent permitted by law.
Your cancellation rights, our 30-day return policy, return conditions, security-tag requirements, pierced-jewellery restriction, return-postage responsibility and refund process are set out in Returns & Refunds. Personalised, resized, engraved or otherwise customer-altered items are generally excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights, but statutory rights still apply if they are faulty or misdescribed.
Jewellery can be affected by impact, friction, moisture, chemicals, storage and the way it is worn. Plated finishes can change gradually and sterling silver can tarnish. Our descriptions and care guidance do not promise that a piece will retain an unchanged appearance or finish for a particular period.
This does not affect your rights if goods were faulty, not of satisfactory quality, unfit for a purpose made known to us or not as described at the time of supply.
The website and its text, design, images, graphics, trade marks and other content are owned by or licensed to us. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial shopping and information. You must not copy, scrape, interfere with, misuse or attempt unauthorised access to the website or its systems.
If you submit a review, image or other content, you confirm that it is your own, accurate to the best of your knowledge, lawful and does not infringe another person's rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and use that content in connection with our business. We may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary. Any incentive offered for a review will be disclosed, and purchase-linked reviews should be marked as verified where the review provider supports this.
The website may contain links needed to operate the service, such as payment, delivery or regulatory information. We are not responsible for the content of external websites. We do not use our editorial or care pages to recommend third-party jewellery services.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
We are not responsible for business losses where you use products or the website for commercial purposes, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed. Nothing in this paragraph reduces a remedy available to you under consumer law.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect, keep you informed where appropriate and respect any cancellation right that applies.
We may update these terms for legal, regulatory, security or operational reasons. The terms in force when you place an order will apply to that order unless the law requires otherwise.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you also retain any mandatory protections available to you and may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
